Experimental study on design method of horizontal bearing capacity of micropiles for transmission tower

Field tests are done to study the horizontal design method of micropiles for transmission tower.Study shows: the calculating of horizontal bearing capacity of single micropile is suitable to determine by horizontal allowable displacement,the value of "m" can be calculated by the test results,which can be used to calculate the horizontal bearing capacity of single micropile;the horizontal bearing capacity of micropile group is the product of the horizontal bearing capacity of single micropile,the number of single pile and the horizontal pile group effect coefficient,which is product of pile interact coefficient and pile top restrict coefficient.If the reasonable design parameters were chozen,the horizontal bearing capacity of micropile foundation could be designed preliminarily.
