Study on the stress performance of filling the openings in reinforced concrete beam

Using the high performance cement-based grouting material(CGM) as the fill material,which is provided with a hole on the abdomen of the reinforced concrete beam,to research the bearing performance of the variation and the filled hole beam on the improvement of bearing capacity,the development of crack and other aspects when different shape(circular and square) holes are filled.The result shows that the bearing capacity of the square hole has greatly improved,but the stress concentration is still easily formed at the corner of a hole,the girder weakened significantly larger than the circular hole.As the result,it is an adverser hole shape;to fill a hole with the CGM can retard the hole week crack development effectively,the bearing capacity of the beams is improved obviously and it plays a certain effect of restoration,but cannot change the low intensity concrete opening beam shear failure morphology.
