The research on intelligent base-isolation based on MR Damper

For the rubber isolation pads as a passive control device,there are limitations of a narrow range of optimal control.In this paper the smart-base isolation system,which is combined with rubber bearing and MR Damper,is applied to structural vibration control,and has numerical simulation of the original structure,the general base-isolated structure,the structure in the isolation layer attached MR Damper in Passive-off state,Passive-on state and semi-active state response under seismic forces.The results show that structure in the MR Damper in the semi-active mental state,the optimal control effect,can effectively overcome the narrow-band passive isolation shortcomings of optimal control,compared with the passive isolation device that can reduce the displacement of isolation layer,the upper layers of the structure layer displacement and maximum acceleration.
