Experimental study on effect on the size effect of compressive strength of concrete core samples

100 mm、67 mm、49 mm、32 mm diameter core samples are drilled from different gradation level of ordinary concrete plan,then processed into high-diameter ratio 1.5、1.2、1.0、0.8、0.5 of different core samples to determine their compressive sterngth.The results show that under the condition of the same diameter compressive strength of concrete core samples increase with high-diameter ratio reduced,and concrete core samples compressive strength varies inconsistently under the same high-diameter ratio condition.According to the results,conversion coefficients of compressive strength between nonstandard core samples and the standards are presented,regression equation of conversion factors were established on the diameter and height-to-diameter ratio.
