Static elastoplastic Pushover analysis on the south part of shopping mall which belongs to a project in Yunnan

Seismic hehavior of the south part of shopping mall which belongs to a project in Yunnan was studied by static elastoplastic analysis method under rare earthquake. Results indicate that the maximum drift angle of steel frame under rare earthquake is less than the limit value; most plastic hinges are formed in frame beams; only a few plastic hinges are formed in frame columns,the frame columns are almost in the elastic stage. By adjusting the design,there aren't plastic hinges formed in frame columns. The results indicate that the design of the structure achieves the seismic performance objectives.
