Research on practical method of crack control for prestressed concrete frame beams

According to the calculation formula of crack width of the current specification"design of concrete structures"GB50010— 2010,parameter values affecting to the crack width is numerous and the calculation is very complex. To some extent,the application of prestressed concrete structure is restricted. This paper makes research on level 3 crack control of prestressed concrete frame beams and a practical method for crack control called reinforced stress control method is put forward based on the theoretical analysis and engineering statistics. What's more,the method of simplified calculation of reinforced stress is put forward too. The method avoids the tedious calculation of the exact crack width,which provides convenience for the structure design and promotes the application of prestressed concrete structures.
