Application of analytic hierarchical process in the orthogonal test of soil similar material

Based on the orthogonal experiment design,five controlling factors including aggregate-blinder ratio,laundry detergent-plaster ratio,barite powder content,bentonite content and water contengt were chosen to perform the mixture ratio tests of soft soil similar material. In order to obtain the properties of similar materials of different mixture ratio such as density,cohesion and internal friction angle,five factors and five levels were set in the material mixture ratio of 25 groups tests. The range analysis and the AHP were adopted to analyze the sensibilities of five factors to parameters of the similar material. It is shown that the properties of similar materials vary within a large range,which can satisfy the requirement of similarity for most model tests of soil material. With the method of AHP and EDA,the test results are different. The test results can provide a reference for the preparation of soil similar material in other model tests.
