Experimental study on the performance of permanent formwork with the same life of structural concrete

With the purpose to explore the main properties of thermal insulation formwork with the same life of structural concrete,three kinds of concrete specimens,using phenolic particles as aggregate and cement as cementing materials,were made based on different mixture ratios among cement,thermal insulation material and gel to identify the thermal conductivity and compressive strength.Regarding on the same purpose,three sets of specimens with vitrified microbeads as aggregate were made as well. The test results show that the thermal conductivity of phenolic particles concrete specimens is between 0. 040 8 ~ 0. 061 W( m·K)~(-1) and the compressive strength is between 0. 32 ~ 1. 32 MPa,which is consistent with the provisions of GB/T 20473—2006. For specimen with same mixture ratio,the thermal insulation performance of phenolic aldehyde particles is better than that of the vitrified microbead. This finding can provide a basis for the design of heat insulation formwork and enrich the material for exterior wall insulation.
