Review on Democratic Constitutional Government in Kuomintang-ruled Areas in Anti-Japanese War

During the Anti-Japanese War, the democratic institutional government movements took place in the Kuomintang-ruled areas because of the struggle for national independence and pursuit of democratic progress. The middle and non-party personage was the main advocators and organizers of democratic institutional government movements, while national businessmen and young students were firm supporters and participants. CPC's proposition about new democratic institutional government and establishment of united government represented the tendency of democratic institutional government movements.
