Research on the Students' Autonomy Development in Higher Vocational Colleges

ZHANG Xiang;Chuzhou City Vocation College;
Based on the investigation and analysis of 1805 students in higher vocational colleges with the questionnaire"students' autonomy development in higher vocational colleges",the results show that the overall situation of students' autonomy is in good condition.The score of each dimension from high to low in turn is the behavioral independence,relational independence,cognitive independence and emotional independence.There are significant differences in each dimension in terms of different majors,grades,genders and registered permanent residence and so on.Then it's suggested that higher vocational colleges should strengthen the students' personality education,perfect their self-concept,improve their autonomous consciousness,enrich their cultural life,guide the club activities,and advance the students' socialization.In addition,it's also necessary to speed up the construction of instructors' specialization and professionalization,and enhance the humanistic care and psychological counseling,in order to promote students' autonomy consciousness and ability effectively.
