In the beginning of the early period of late Sinian marine transgression took place in South Anhui, and carbon - and silicon -bearing terrestrial clastic rock deposited there, i. e. shallow sea basin facies. In the late of the early period , carbonate rock and carbonaterock intercalated with clay rock deposited, i. e. Platform - slope facies and platform - basin facies, whose change of depositional facies andpaleogeographic differentiation were closely related to the nature of basement, syndepositional structure and carbonate buildup.
