GEOLOGICAL FEATURES AND ORIGIN OF THE RONGDU GOLD DEPOSIT, WUHE, ANHUI PROVINCE

The Rongdu gold deposit is formed by the Yenshanian mid - high temperature magmatic hydrothermalism as a product of superimposition and reworking by many ore - forming processes. The metallogenetic substance is derived mainly from postmagmatic hydrothermal solution, secondarily bound up with wallrock and dike rock. The Tanlu ductile brittle shear zone is the major structure as passageway for ore fluid and its secondary faults are the main host.
