PROGNOSIS AND APPRAISAL STUDY ON CARBONATE ROCK RESERVOIR BY WELL OIL AND GAS GEOCHEMICAL EXPLORATION TECHNOLOGY

As a new technology arising in the beginning of 1990`s in the field of oil and gas exploration, well oil and gas geochemical exploration technology has its unique advantage for prognosis and discrimination of oil and gas reservoir in the course of drilling. Taking well BC1 of the Bachu Rise in the Tarim Basin and well D6 of the Tabamiao Segment in the Ordos Basin for example, this paper tries to acquire oil and gas geochemical information from available data on oil geology and well geochemical exploration achievements. It has typically described the characteristics of oil and gas geochemical anomaly for carbonate rock reservoir and pointed out the differences between the geochemical anomaly model of carbonate rock reservoir and that of clastic rock reservoir.
