DISCUSSION ON PRECISE GEOCHEMICAL EXPLORATION TECHNIQUEFOR OIL AND GAS APPLIED TO THE NORTH OF A FAULT DEPRESSIONIN THE SONGLIAO BASIN

Through the application of precise geochemical exploration technique for oil and gas to the north of a fault depression in the Songliao Basin,the authors have summed up the surface geochemical characteristics of oil and gas in the area and given out technical approaches to precise geochemical exploration and geochemical exploration indicator series. Concentration anomaly, major component anomaly,entropy value anomaly and other data processing and interpretation techniques are employed to acquire the surface geochemical information of deep seated oil and gas reservoir, to appraise a number of geochemical exploration anomalies, to forecast the favorable traps for oil and gas accumulation and to give suggestions for late drilling layout scheme. The research results are coincided with synchronous three dimensional seismic work findings, which contribute to the stage accomplishments of oil and gas exploration in the north of the fault depression significantly.
