WU Hai-quan;SHI Yong-hong;Institute of Geological Survey of Anhui Province;School of resources and Environment Engineering, Hefei University of Technology;
The Huangmei complex rock mass,Hubei lies at the southern fringe of the Dabie orogen,and is divided from old to new into 5 units as Luannitan,Xiangduimen,Changdengjia,Shidiwa and Yuexingao,which are termed the Huangmei super-unit as a whole.Petrogeochemical study indicated that the complex rock mass is characterized by I-type granite and is of comagmatic structural evolution series.Based on this field geological observation and previous research results,the complex rock mass is thought to be formed in late Cretaceous lithospheric thinning environment in eastern China.
