Scattering cross sections for electron-atom collision with Independent atomic model

A tentative research method for electron-atom collision is established out,and a new simple model of electron-atom collision procession is designed.With the method,the authors study on scattering cross sections for mediate-energy electron scattering on atoms.Then the expressions of scattering cross sections for electron-atom collision are obtained,and the total cross section for e-He collision calculated.Compared with the experimental data,the results are encouraging.It shows that the physical ideology is new and innovational.
