The Positive and the Negative Di Mon Mating Breeding in Lentinula edodes

A crossed strain Nongl and wild strain (Q) from Lentinula edodes were selected for the positive and the negative di mon mating. Six hybrids were verified antagonistic tests and primordium formation in a liquid medium (PDY). The cultivated strains No.1 and No.4 generated normal fruiting bodies. The cultivation result showed the yield of strain No.1 was obiviously higher than that of strain No.4 Q, The yield of strain No.1 was the highest, its biological efficiency 134.3 % and its heterosis of yield 247.4 %, showing a marked hybrid vigour and that the positive di mon mating breeding (QQ×Nm) was superior to the negative one (NN×Qm).
