Effects of Different Planting Patterns on Senescence of Flag Leaf in Wheat(Triticum aestivum)

[Objective] The purpose was to study effects of different planting patterns on senescence of flag leaf in wheat,and clarify differences in drought resistance among them.[Method] Three planting patterns were raised-bed culture,trench culture and ridge culture,and the correlation indices of senescence were the contents of leaf water,chlorophyll and MDA,the relative electric conductivity and the activities of SOD and CAT respectively.[Result] The results showed that under the raised-bed culture,the senescence rate and degradation rate of the chlorophyll of flag leaf slowed down in the later period,and its SOD and CAT activities were higher,and its MDA content was lower than those of the other treatments,it had strengthened the drought resistance of wheat.Although the trench culture wheat showed a certain superiority compared with ridge culture wheat,its senescence degradation rate was faster than that of raised-bed culture.[Conclusion] Their drought resistance of three planting patterns is as follows: Raised-bed culture trench culture ridge culture.
