Collation and Research Value of Wang's Letters,Huizhou Merchant in Qianlong and Jiaqing Period

Wang's letters are treasured in archives establishment of Shexian County,Anhui Province,rarely seen in Huizhou merchants' materials which are discovered in recent years.Most of the letters were written by Wang Tengjiao,a typical Huizhou merchant in Qianlong Dynasty and Jiaqing Dynasty with a comparatively illustrious family background and specialize in trade as well as reading from generation to generation.He had been appointed as a county magistrate's assistant for donation.The true image of Huizhou merchants' family life and the authentic state of the feudal officialdom were all concerned in these letters,so these letters are of research value.
