MA Xin;Institution of Literature,Chinese Academy of Social Sciences;
As a famous scholar in the late Qing Dynasty,Shao Yichen died in Taiping Rebellion.When alive,he could not systematically sort his own poems and depended on his friends and descendants to perfect it.The two block-printed editions of Pan Zuyin and Ding in Tongzhi period are the earliest poem collection.Sanyizhai version of Wu Tangwang in Tongzhi period is also the earliest essay collection.The eldest grandson of Shao Yichen integrated his poems and essays,which formed Banyanluyiji in Guangxu period and was further complemented in 11 years in the Republic of China.Between the periods,there were hand-written copies.With block-printed versions and handwritten copies,a complicated system formed.What's more,there were 27 books by Shao,which were lost works excluded by all kinds of poem and essay collections.Their values should be explored.
