DETERMINATION OF 6-MERCAPTOPURINE WITH Cu(PHEN)_2~(2+)-H_2O_2-6-MERCAPTOPURINE SYSTEM BY CHEMILUMINESCENCE METHOD

A chemiluminescence(CL) suppression for the determination of 6-Mereaptopurine(6-MP) based on Cu(phen) 2+ 2-H 2O 2-6-MP system was established. The linear range for 6-MP 2.0×10 -7 -9.0×10 -6 g/mL and the detection limit is 6.2×10 -8 g/mL. The relative standard deviation(n=7) is 2.9% for 1.0×10 -6 g/mL 6-MP. The method has been applied to the determination of 6-MP in tablets with recovery between 95%-103% and satisfactory results.
