Electrocatalysis Behavior of Halide Ion on Ti/nanoTiO_2-Pt Electrode

The high active Ti/nanoTiO2-Pt electrode was prepared by electrochemical synthesis and electro-deposition.The electrochemical effect of impurity halide ion in Ti/nanoTiO2-Pt Electrode and ion liquid(BF4)is studied by cyclic voltammetry and linear scanning method,and was also compared with Ti/nanoTiO2 and graphite electrode.The relationship of electro catalysis activity and response of halide ion on Ti/nanoTiO2-Pt Electrode was also studied.The results show that the electro catalysis activity of halide ion on Ti/nanoTiO2-Pt Electrode is high.According to the experiments,the ion liquid may have the electrochemical effect of impurity halide ion in high active electrode.Epa=0.94V,ΔEp=0.098V,Ipa/Ipc=1,it is quasi-reversible electrode reaction.
