Research on the Additive and Plating Solution Performance of Zincate Zn-Ni Alloy

Plating solution of Zn-Ni alloy in alkaline process has been prepared by adding nickel salt,complexing agent and a self-made additive to alkaline zincate.The plating solution prescription and operating conditions were optimized through Hull cell experiment.The properties of plating solution including dispersing power,cathode current efficiency and deposition rate,stabilization and corrosion resistance of the coating were also tested.The results show that the plating solution composition is simple and the operation is convenient,the dispersing power is 77.16%,the average cathode current efficiency is 75%,the average deposition rate is 34.88μm/h and the coating has a good decay resistance.Uniform,compact,bright,decay resistance and planar Zn-Ni alloy coating was formed.
