Spatio-Temporal Pattern and Mechanism Analysis of Economic Development Discrepancy in Yellow River Golden Triangle Regions of Shanxi,Shaanxi and Henan Province

The research selected 47 county-level administrative units located in the Yellow River Golden Triangle Regions of Shanxi,Shaanxi and Henan province as main studying objects. By use of the time-series data of 2004,2009 and 2014 it chose 11 economic indicators and used the TOPSIS information entropy method to determine the weights of indices,the cluster analysis of the weight sum was made and followed by the GIS visualization of clustering results. And the spatial autocorrelation of the researching area was studied from the perspective of GDP per capita. The results show that:(1)The Yellow River Golden Triangle Regions has formed the growth pole with the municipal districts as its core area. The counties with low level of economic development are concentrated on both sides of the border line and the high level ones are distributed along the important railway lines.(2) The spatial autocorrelation( or institutional thickness) exists but is rather weak. The autocorrelation type is changing from the single LL type to the coexistence of HH type and LL type. The LL type of Weinan city is weakening and the HH type of Sanmenxia city is strengthening from view of space performance.(3) The pattern of economic disparity in the Yellow River Golden Triangle Regions is formed under the influence of regional economic policies,the self-economic driving power,interaction among spaces,administrative boundaries,physical geography boundaries and some traditional concepts etc.
