STUDY ON PSEUDOPODIA AND ATTACHMENT BEHAVIOR OF LIVING STENTOR COERULEUS

The attachment behavior and mechanism of stentor coeruleus were being observed. The living stentor coeruleus were studied by light microscopy. The hold fast structure locates at the posterior end of its body's surface where all the kineties gathered, the hold fast structure could form filopodia; The pseudopodia of Ciliata makes it possible that the phylogenies of Mastigophora, Sarcodina and Ciliata were again discussed.
