Test Stage Operation Modes Analysis of 220kV Automatic Spare Power Switchover Devices in Lincang Transformer Substation

220 kV automatic spare power switchover devices of Lincang were exemplified in this paper. First of all,various possible operating modes of the automatic spare power switchover devices were analyzed,and operation modes for power grids during tests of the devices were put forward. In addition,static power flow,islanded power network operations and small disturbances were analyzed in terms of their stability. In this paper, the frequency for adjusting operation modes for power grids was diminished by optimizing various test methods. At last,the method proposed in this paper for testing the automatic spare power switchover devices was simulated by BPA. The results demonstrated the feasibility of the method.
