Objective: To investigate the influence of community home visiting based on transtheoretical model on rehabilitation training compliance of first attacked stroke. Methods: 87 cases of first attacked stroke patients selected from community health station were randomly divided into experimental group(43 cases) and control group(44 cases), the experimental group intervened with community home visiting based on transtheoretical model while control group with conventional home visiting, compared the change of rehabilitation training compliance stage, rehabilitation training compliance score, activity abilities(FMA and MBI scores) and recurrence of the disease. Results: The rehabilitation training compliance stage and recurrence rate of experimental group were significantly better than those of control group(P0.05); the improvement of rehabilitation training compliance score and FMA, MBI scores of experimental group were significantly better than those of control group(P0.01). Conclusion: community home visiting based on transtheoretical model can improve the patients' cognitive level of rehabilitation training and their compliance and activity abilities, so as to improve the quality of life and reduce recurrence rate.
