Effects of Secondary and Trace Elements on Yield and Quality of Watermelon in Daxing District

Effects of secondary and trace elements on yield and quality of watermelon were studied.The results showed that the production of microelement was increased by 7.5%~24.1% and watermelon center soluble solids content was improved by percentage of 0.3 to 2.0.Synthesizing with watermelon yield,center soluble solids content and microelements content,1.0%ferrous sulfate solution that was sprayed three times in vine-extending stage,fruit setting stage and fruit expanding stage of watermelon growing period could receive yield of 62.69t/hm2,center soluble solids content was 10.8%,the content of iron,zinc,boron and calcium were high content by 6.02、0.59、0.70 and 10.0mg/kg.The fertilize is suitable for popularization and application in production.
