Spatial and Temporal Change of Temperature and Precipitation in Guizhou Province from 1981 to 2010

Climate change has been affecting people′s production and life since the 21 st Century.In order to prevent and reduce meteorological disasters and promote the social and economic development,temporal and spatial changes of temperature and precipitation data in the past 30 years in 9 prefectures and its counties of Guizhou Province were analyzed based on the Arc GIS platform,by using the inverse distance weighted(IDW)interpolation method.The results showed that the average temperature of Guizhou Province was 15.63 ℃ from 1981 to 2010,and the temperature was increasing by the warming rate of 0.23 ℃ per 10 years.The seasonal temperatures showed an increasing trend.During the study period,the annual precipitation increased at first,then decreased,and showed a fluctuantincreasing trend with theincreasing rate of 61.5 mm per 10 years.The maximum precipitation appeared in 1998,while the minimum precipitation appeared in 1998.Both the the area and extent of precipitation reduction were large since 21 st Century.The seasonal precipitation changed greatly,the precipitation was concentrated in the summer,which accounted for 48.23% of the annual precipitation,while the winter precipitation was only 10% of the whole year.
