Research Progress on Polyploidy of Misgurnus anguillicaudatus

Polyploid of aquatic organisms is a research hotspot in the field of biology.Polyploid organisms have the following characteristics :fast growth,robust physique and strong resistance to diseases.Misgurnus anguillicaudatus is a rare natural polyploid fish,its polyploid study has important reference for other aquatic organisms.The principles and methods of polyploid induction,and the research progress of natural polyploids of Misgurnus anguillicaudatus were reviewed in this paper.The research results of a variety of methods were summarized,such as physical and chemical induction techniques,as well as research status of Misgurnus anguillicaudatus natural polyploidy,in order to provide basic datas for Misgurnus anguillicaudatus ployploid artificial induction and production,and provide some references for the research of polyploid induction of other aquatic organisms.
