Application of CRISPR/Cas9 in Biomedical Disease Model

The invention of CRISPR/Cas9 editing technique makes the world of genetic edition open to us,which can be used to edit in most cell types and organisms.In addition,CRISPR/Cas9 has been used in the study of endogenous gene expression,epigenetic genome editing,single strand RNA editing and high-throughput gene screening.The application of CRISPR/Cas9 system has enriched means to the research of gene functions,and also has created abundant gene models based on this technique.This paper introduced the operating principle and advantage of CRISPR/Cas9,and summarized its application in the biomedical disease model,so as to broaden the knowledge of pathogenesis and develop new treatment.
