Determination of Carbendazim Residues in Pitaya by Ultra Performance Liquid Chromatography with UV Detection

A rapid method for the determination of carbendazim(MBC)residues in pitaya fruit by ultra high performance liquid chromatography(UPLC)was established.Pitaya fruit was extracted by acetonitrile,purified by NH_2 column,and determined by ultraviolet detector and quantified by external standard method.By comparing the purification effects of QuEChERS,NH_2 and MCX solid phase extraction columns,the sample pretreatment and chromatographic separation conditions were optimized to determine the detection method of carbendazim in pitaya fruit.The results showed that the detection limit(S/N=3)was 0.004 mg/kg,the quantitative limit(S/N=10)was 0.013 mg/kg,and the content of carbendazim showed a good linear relationship between 0.02 g/mL and 1.00 μg/m L.The correlation coefficient was 0.999 8.The average recovery was between 80.6% and 85.5% with the addition of 0.02-0.20 mg/kg.The method has the advantages of simple operation,high sensitivity and good reproducibility,and is suitable for the detection and analysis of carbendazim in pitaya fruit.
