Analysis of A Rainstorm Weather Process in Guilin in Spring of 2014

Based on conventional observation data and automatic station data,the circulation and physical characteristics of the rainstorm weather in Guilin on April 6,2014 were analyzed.The results showed that,the rainstorm process was formed by the combined influence of the slow eastward moving south branch trough,the low trough formed after the weakening of the southwest vortex,and the weak cold air.Below 500 hPa was the water vapor convergence zone with strong water vapor convergence.Atmospheric stratification was in a weak convective instability state,the effective energy of convection was small,and the atmospheric energy was weak.During the rainstorm,the atmospheric stratification became stable,but the whole atmosphere was wet.
