Study of Complex Forked Frame and Box Parts Modeling Based on Solidworks

Parts modeling is an essential section of mechanical design. However, complex fork frame and box parts are two types parts, which have various features and complicated structure,such as curved surface and asymmetric structure. For these parts, it is difficult to precisely model and low efficiency to complete. The software Solidworks is taken as a tool to model complex fork frame and box parts. Bicycle shelf and worm gear reducer are taken for example. Block modeling is based on feature decomposition, and modeling routes are planned. Moreover, the modeling method and key technology, discussed in the process, has a guiding significance for modeling other complex parts.
