Stuty on Remolval Efficiency of Main Pollutants Using Improved Orbal Oxidation Ditch Process

According to the water quality of incoming and outgoing water, the effect of the improved Orbal oxidation ditch process on the removal of CODCr, BOD, ammonia nitrogen, and total phosphorus in the waste water was monitored and analyzed. The results show that the average removal efficiencies of COD, BOD, ammonia nitrogen, total nitrogen, and total phosphorus were 68.34%, 82.35%, 53.64%, 24.89%, and 16.94%, respectively. The removal efficiency of total phosphorus is low because of the anaerobic tank, sludge aging, lack of organic carbon sources, phosphorus release from nitrate interference, inaccurate control of dissolved oxygen in the oxidation ditch, and presence of certain nutrients.
