PENG Dong;YANG Jun;ZHANG Lei;Department of Radiology,the Fourth Hospital of Xi'an;
Objective To compare and analysis the differences between pulmonary cavities of tuberculosis and lung cancer on CT images. Method Data of 43 cavitary pulmonary tuberculosis patients(control group) and 43 caritary lung cancer patients(observation group) were collected. CT imaging was performed in two groups of patients. The imaging manifestations of the two groups, including lobulation sign, spicule sign, pleural indentation sign, mural nodule, calcification, thickness of the cavity wall, were observed and compared. Result Compared with the control group, the incidence rates of calcification and thick-walled cavity were lower in observation group, and the incidence rates of lobulated sign,pleural indentation sign, mural nodule spicule sign and thin-walled cavity were higher in observation group(P0.05).Conclusion There are some differences in the CT imaging manifestations between pulmonary cavities of tuberculosis and lung cancer. In clinical practice, CT can be used to identify and diagnose the two kinds of diseases.
