GIS-based Investigation and Evaluation of Urban Underground Space Resources

WANG Hui ZHU Wen-jun (Underground Engineering Institute,Department of Civil Engineering,Tsinghua University,Beijing 100084,China)  
Based on the perfect ability of GIS in spatial data management and analysis,a GIS-based investiga- tion and evaluation system of urban underground space resources was constructed.The key methods were discussed a- bout how to run the investigation/evaluation system and the mathematic model by GIS.Lastly,the system was verified by the examples of Beijing and Xiamen cities.
