Research on the Shear Strength Parameter of Sandstone Fracture

The following tests were carried out to study the shear strength characteristic of sandstone fracture in Longmengou dam site of Majiayan reservoir:The first is 3 groups of in-situ direct shear strength test on the fractures of rock Z11,Z12 and Z13(15 points.),the second is 26 groups of laboratory direct shear strength test(155 points), and the third is 4 groups of physical test which include miner identification and chemical composition analysis.Some laws were discovered based on the above work.
