Numerical Simulation on Excavation of Multi-Arch Tunnel Subjected to Partial Pressure

As a new structure form of highway tunnel,the theory of multi-arch tunnel is still in primary state up to now.Especially there is lack of study on the distribution of stress,displacement and stability of multi-arch tunnel under complex stress condition.With the background of a multi-arch tunnel being constructed in the Yuan- mo highway,Yunnan Province,3D Fast Lagrangian dement method is applied to simulate the excavation of multi- arch tunnel subjected to partial pressure.The distribution of stress,displacement and plastic zone in the wall rock mass of multi-arch tunnel is obtained.
