Optimum Process for Design and Construction of a Super-shallow Overburden Multi-arch Underpass

In this paper,the optimitun process of design and construction of a super-shallow overburden multi- arch underpass is introduced.According to the service purpose of the underpass,geological conditions,requirements of surface environment,the disadvantages of the orignal design of structure style and support measures and construc- tion steps are analyzed and the improved measures are put forward.The result of a numerical simulation calculation by the software FLAC-3D and construction practice shows that the optimum result is successful,it achieves the pro- spective purpose for security,economy and reasonability.
