Study on the Design of the High Resistance and Big Span Slab in the Underground Works

The high resistant and big span slab and its abutment are the keystones for design in some important civil air defense works.The usually adopted slab structures are big in thickness,high in the reinforcement ratio and complicated in the load condition.In this paper,the contrast analysis is proposed on slab,table-flap and arch struc- tures in the design of a project.The rationality and economical efficiency of the three structure forms are compared based on the reinforcement ratio and other important economical and technical guidelines.The results show that the arch structure is most reasonable in the load condition,but the depth of the project will be increased and need trans- verse support provided by the abutment,the slab structure is easy in construction but the load condition and economi- cal efficiency are worst,table-flap structure is intervenient.The reasonable choice of the structure form must be de- cided by the idiographic condition of the project.
