Theoretical Research on the Special Five Bar Cutting Mechanism for the Ellipse Section Shield

In order to meet the requirements of different tunnel constructions,special section(such as ellipse section) shield can be adopted.In order to realize this object,it is very important to research and develop new special section shields.The flexible section shield is a trend of the shield technology.Developing a sound cutting mechanism is the core technology to develop the flexible section shield.In this paper,hybrid driven special five bar mechanism is first applied to cutting mechanism of ellipse section shield machine to meet the requirements of special section tunnel in underground space.In order to develop a sound cutting mechanism of the ellipse section shield machine,we used the special five-bar mechanism to cut variable-ellipse-trajectory.Illustratable parsing method is first applied to analyze the diversification orderliness.Based on the diversification orderliness,the control orderliness of the real time adjustable motor is discussed.For the sake of exploring the orderliness influenced by the initialization station of the cutting mechanism,the special five-bar cutting mechanism analysis and simulation software is developed.After the theoretic analysis and the computer emulation,the control theory and algorithm for cutting the variable-ellipse-trajectory is formed.The result of the computer simulation not only shows the veracity of the results but also shows that the special five-bar cutting mechanism can provide the flexible cutting trajectory.
