Experimental Study on the Dissolution and Permeability of Glauberite

The primary target of mining glauberite is the sodium sulfate extracting.It will involve dissolution and permeability of glauberite despite whichever kind of mining method was chosen.The experimental study on the dissolution and permeability of glauberite under exposure outlet is carried out by the high-precision Micro-CT μCT225KVFCB test system and the MDS-200 triaxial permeability test system.In the process of experiment,the nonporous skeleton becomes a porous medium,but its solid skeleton remains intact.Its mechanical character changes constantly because its composition varies during the experiment.When the axial compression and the confining pressure are invariable,with the increase of water injection pressure,the time required for dissolution and transfixion of specimens is reduced,but the permeability increases with water injection pressure and the dissolution duration.
