Numerical Analysis of Blasting on the Rupture of Concrete Spray Layer at Different Ages

By taking an accident of the rupture of concrete spray layer induced by blasting as the background,which occurred in the process of excavating for main track roadway of a coal mine in China's Anhui province,the explosive stress wave and its propagation in concrete spray layer at different ages as well as its rupture process are analyzed by using the large-scale finite-element method software of ANSYS/LS-DYNA.The safe distance from the excavation face is obtained and the influence of the velocity on the concrete spray layer and the stability of concrete spray layer are studied.The peak velocity of numerical calculation and that calculated by the empirical formula basically coincide;therefore,using numerical simulation to study the rupture of concrete spray layer at different ages is applicable,and this can provide references to the reinforcement of the surrounding rock of the roadway.
