Experimental Study of Soil Compaction Effect of Pile on Nearby Underground Pipelines

For 3×3 group pile,PVC pipe is used to simulate underground pipeline,for completing the model experiment on soil compaction effects of pile to the nearby underground pipeline,studying the strain variation law of the pipeline during the pile driving process,and studying the law of influence of the pipeline diameter,depth and distance from the pile-area on the strain of underground pipeline.The results show that the strain of underground pipeline increases during the pile driving process because of the soil compaction effects,and the pipeline has strain softening while the underground pipeline is closer to the pile driving area,and when the distance from the pipeline to the driving area changes,the pipeline strain variation regularity is not the same.The greater the diameter of pipeline,the greater the bending rigidity,and the smaller the strain were.And the greater the buried depth of pipeline,the greater the strain,but farther away from the pile driving area,it is appeared that when the buried depth increases,the strain reduces.The closer the pile driving area,the greater is the underground pipeline strain.The experiment results have important guiding significance and practical value on pile construction near the underground pipeline site.
