Research and Application of Polypropylene Fiber Concrete Shotcrete Support Technology

Aiming at that the shotcrete concrete is easy to crack,its tensile performance is poor,the surrounding rock deformation is big,a new type of polymer materials called as polypropylene fiber was studied. It can be mixed with concrete and be formed into three-dimensional network support system of different directions in the concrete spray layer,produce a side strengthening effect. It can effectually prevent the shrinkage and segregation as well as the formation and development of subsidence of concrete,it greatly improves the structure and physical and mechanical properties of surrounding rock. It improves bearing capacity of the surrounding rock,and enhances the capacity of resistance to deformation of surrounding rock. Through simulation analysis,engineering application and survey with ordinary concrete lining,we have found that the polypropylene fiber concrete spray layer can resist the deformation of surrounding rock,ensure the stability of surrounding rock and improve the economic safety. It has more practical value than ordinary concrete shotcrete,and has a wide application prospect.
