Experiment Research on Mechanical Property of Lamprophyre in Nature and Saturated Conditions

To explore the mechanism of abnormal mining press under special thick seam mining with lots of lamprophyre layered invade conditions,we made uniaxial compressive indirect tensile and angle changed shear tests on lamprophyre in natural and saturated states. The study shows: there are three deformation sections for both natural and saturated lamprophyre under uniaxial compressive deformation before the peak strength,but the nature one has long elastic but short plastic sections,after peak strength the saturated lamprophyre and natural one have the property as shown in CurveⅠ and Curve II,respectively; The average compressive strength of natural lamprophyre is 114. 53 MPa and that for saturated specimens is lower than the natural state by 39. 7%; indirect tensile tests show that the average tensile strength of natural lamprophyre is 8. 63 MPa and reduced by 42. 4% after saturation; the angle changed shear tests gave the strength curve equation of lamprophyre in two states,and the cohesion and friction angle of the lamprophyre in two states were found,the cohesion and friction angle of saturated lamprophyre reduced by 21. 8%and 1. 6% compared with those of natural ones.
