Non-probability Reliability Analysis of Karst Cave under Pile-end Based on Hoek-Brown Criterion

There are various factors affecting the stability of Karst roof under the pile-end,in this article the factors such as pile diameter,thickness of the Karst roof and load of pile-end are taken into consideration,and a threedimensional formula of internal stress distribution of karst cave under pile-end based on elastic theory is obtained; Besides,the 3D Hoek-Brown strength criterion that takes into account various influences is adopted to analyse the stability of Karst cave under pile-end,and a stability index"g"is obtained,which is used to estimate the stability of Karst roof under pile-end; in addition,with the non-probabilistic reliability analysis method introduced,a non-probabilistic reliability index"η"is fulfilled,providing a method to analyse the reliability of Karst cave under pile-end; finally,based on the actual engineering work,the result obtained is reasonable compared with the real one,which means it can give a guide to related design.
