Experimental Analysis of Overlying Strata Movement Characteristic under Close Distance Coal Seam Group Downward Mining

In order to explore overlying strata movement characteristic during close distance coal seam group multiple downward inclined mining,according to the geological and technical conditions of close distance coal seam group which includes seams Nos. 8,7,6 and 5 in Pan'er mine,the analysis of similar material simulation was synthetically applied. Overlying strata deformation,destruction and movement law have been analyzed in the case of multiple mining,macro movement patterns and characteristics of overlying strata under closed distance coal seam group multiple mining are similar to the single coal mining. The overlying strata subsidence coefficient decreases linearly along with the increase of mining times. The relationship between time and spatial location of connectivity caused by overlying strata deformation and destruction when multiple mining is closely related to mining thickness and times,as well as the distance and lithology of strata,etc. The research shows that the multiple superimposed evolution of overlying strata movement not only is a key factor affecting roof pressurization and controlling,as well as the arrangement and effects of gas extraction,but also is the dominant factor of mining-induced stress evolution hazard.
