Mechanism of the Causes of High Frequency Debris Flow in Ge-Diluo Ditch

Ge-Diluo Ditch debris flow gully located in Yanyuan County,Liangshan Prefecture in Sichuan Province. It is a typical high-frequency dilutes debris flow in high mountain valley. Relevant surveys show that in Ge-Diluo Ditch small landslides or floods with high sediment occurred 1 to 3 times annually,there was a certain scope of debris flow in average per 10 years. The drainage area of debris flow formation zone is small,the channel is short,but with extremely rich source of material,landslides occurred very easily during heavy rain. It's a typical representation in the West Sichuan area. From the basin characteristics of debris flow,water source conditions,startup and transformation of material source,the genetic mechanism of the occurrence of high frequency debris flow ditch was studied using field surveys,remote sensing interpretation and other means.
